NRT Auditions: Audition for the Second Half of Spring 2012!
Greetings NRT,
It’s time for AUDITIONS for the second round of Spring 2012!
Auditions will run from 6 PM to 9 PM on Sunday January 22 to Tuesday January 24 in the Chambers Building lobby (across from the Library). You can show up at any point during these times to audition; no appointment or sign up is necessary.
Callbacks will occur on Thursday January 26, also from 6 PM to 9 PM unless otherwise noted by the director (I know that Assassins plans to do some callbacks on Wednesday).
These are the shows that you will be auditioning for:
- Rope – directed by Ben Sereda (bjs5480@psu.edu) March 16-17
- Red Velvet Cake War – directed by Karen Marchuska (kym5192@psu.edu) March 23-24
- Romance – directed by Debi Chakravarti (sdc5107@gmail.com) March 30-31
- Pygmalion – directed by Kayleigh Denneler (ksd5084@psu.edu) April 6-7
- Phroth Phest 2012 – directed by Nicole Foley (nkf5015@psu.edu) April 13-14
- Assassins – directed by Jared Paxson (jrp5187@psu.edu) April 20-21
All that is required to audition is a one-minute monologue that you can choose on your own or one that is provided from the attachments below. Having it memorized is not required, but it is recommended.

Also attached is the Audition Questionnaire that you will need to fill out and bring to the audition room. This questionnaire along with all audition pieces will be provided at the audition table, so it is not necessary for you to bring any items.
